TalentGateThe gateway for Australia’s workforce solutions

Privacy & Collection Notice

Effective 1 July 2026 · Version 1.0

This notice explains how TalentGate collects, uses, holds and shares your personal information, and your choices about it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

1Who we are

“TalentGate”, “we” and “us” means Talent Gate Australia Pty Ltd, a recruitment, workforce solutions, relocation and settlement services business. You can reach us any time at gm@talentgate.com.au.

2What we collect

Depending on whether you contact us as a worker, an employer or a referral partner, we may collect:

  • Your name and contact details (email, phone, location);
  • Work-related details — occupation, skills, tickets and licences, qualifications, experience, availability and willingness to relocate;
  • Employer or organisation details, and the roles you need filled;
  • Anything else you choose to tell us in an enquiry or registration.

We collect this directly from you when you complete a form, email us, or speak with us.

3Why we collect it

We use your personal information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or registration;
  • Match workers with genuine roles, and support relocation and settlement;
  • Communicate with you about opportunities, your registration, and our services;
  • Improve and run our services, and meet our legal obligations.

4Marketing & staying in touch

When you give us your details, you agree that we may contact you about relevant roles, updates and services that may interest you. You can opt out at any time by emailing gm@talentgate.com.au or using the unsubscribe option in any message — and we’ll stop.

5Who we share it with

By submitting an application — directly or through an authorised partner — a worker consents to their details being shared with prospective employers and relevant service partners as part of the recruitment and placement process. Where partners refer candidates, profiles may be shared anonymised first and named at shortlist stage. We may also use trusted service providers (for example, IT and email) who handle information on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.

6How we store and protect it

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

7Access, correction & choices

You can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or to remove you from our records. Email gm@talentgate.com.au and we’ll help. Providing your information is voluntary, but if you choose not to, we may not be able to match you with roles or respond fully to your enquiry.

8Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, contact us first at gm@talentgate.com.au and we’ll work to resolve it. If you’re not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
